Heldenstein is trekkingplaats 6; de locatie ligt onder de Schänzelturm nabij Forsthaus Heldenstein. De dichtstbijzijnde parkeerplaats ligt circa 1,3 km verderop. De plaats mag niet met de auto worden aangereden. Er zijn geen aangewezen waterbronnen nabij; het Forsthaus levert sinds 2022 geen water meer.
